Before you can renew your NOCN Competent Blue Card, you have to pass the Health and safety test. If the last time you passed it was over 2 years ago, then you will have to take it again.
As an example, if today we are in March 2024 and you last took this test in February 2022 (or before) then you have to take it again.
It’s worth refreshing your memory by ordering the latest Health and Safety Study book with all the practice questions and answers.
NOTE:
If you’ve forgotten your username and password, it’s worth checking your emails from around the last time you took the test.
If you still can’t fin your details, then first click on I have forgotten my username.
Then click on I have forgotten my password.

Great, you’ve passed your Health and Safety Test. Now brace yourself for another one. 🙂
In order to renew your NOCN blue card you will HAVE to pass this touch screen renewal test for any categories that you want renewed. There is no way around it.
Examples:
For the A17 Telehandler you’ll need to take the RT17 Telehandler renewal test
If renewing both A62 Crane/Lifting Supervisor and A40 Slinger Signaller, then you’ll just need to take one test which is the RT62 Crane supervisor.
In some cases you might need to take multiple tests. Take a note of the tests names.
Unfortunately, this is what you’ll have to study before taking the renewal test. Most of them have 3 to 4 pages of loooooooooong and boring text.
But don’t worry I have prepared something nice and useful for you.
I’ve crafted over 100 Multiple-Choice Questions and Answers for each individual Category. You can use these Blue Card Renewal Mock Tests to test your knowledge and boost your confidence before the CPCS renewal test.
Scroll to the right until you find your category.
Once you know the test to take and have your study materials, it’s finally time to book the touchscreen test.
Note:
If you create a new account you’ll have to complete all your personal details. such as Name, Address, date of birth, National Insurance Number. It’s quite easy. Just follow their form.
In some cases, if you already had an account with them you might get a message allong the lines: “It appears you already have an account with us. If so, we may need to merge the two accounts. Please allow us 24 hours to review and get back to you.”
Do not worry, they will send you an email with a new username and temporary password within 24 hours.
Once you receive this, use the details to sign in here. It will then prompt you to change the password and select 3 memorable questions and answers (for security)
